Quote The Market is an independent price comparison site, operating since 2018. It all started when our managing director Nigel Chivers noticed that many popular insurance products, such as taxi and van insurance, were massively underrepresented in the price comparison market.
He also spotted that many of the mainstream price comparison websites turned a blind eye to customers with special policy requirements. Drivers with previous convictions, modified vehicles and multi car insurance are just some of the conditions which the top players often don’t account for. We aim to offer price comparison on a wide range of products, some of which you won’t find anywhere else!
Our team work to make our price comparison tool as inclusive as it can be. We do so because we believe that everyone should be able to take advantage of price comparison. Quote the Market provide an impartial service, where you can save both time and money when buying insurance.
How we make our money
When you purchase an insurance policy through the Quote the Market site, we charge your new insurer a fee for getting them your business. We only get paid after you have completed the purchase, so there are no hidden costs.
We strive to find the lowest prices for each individuals needs, and we receive a flat fee across all our insurers. This means we have no reason to promote any insurers over another.

Some price comparison sites collect customer details and sell them to a high volume of brokers. This leads to lots of unwanted cold calls and a subpar service, as brokers don’t have the information on your specific needs. We will never do this.
All the personal information you provide us with will be held in the strictest of confidence. We will only use it in the provision of our service. With Quote the Market the customer gets to choose who contacts them, if anyone at all.
